Don’t you love art?

Don’t you love art? It’s the thing that makes life beautiful. Pleasing to the eye. Appealing to our senses. It’s just lovely how everyone can create art, and how much joy it brings to our lives.

And by Art I don’t just mean music, painting, sculptures, but rather everything that is done with a pure intention and love for the work. Wouldn’t you agree? I mean we consider vintage cars as art. Vintage telephones as art. The Braun designed products as art. Food as art (The famous Japanese Sushis). Shoes. Bags. Cards. Books.

I keep wondering how would life be if we didn’t have art as an alternative medium to us. As the cities keep becoming more and more sanitized and similar, we are effectively losing our culture or pushing them to smaller and smaller regions, or purely online. Every building looks the same. Every house looks the same. Every car looks the same.

I have pushed all my life to keep preserving arts and art forms, and create a sustainable Cultural Hub for cities that can celebrate arts of every form. But I have failed at it, mainly because I forgot the first part of the story. Awareness. Awareness amongst us to realize why art is important. Awareness that artists are an important part of our society.

I see a lot of that awareness developing now, but we still have a long way to go. Especially to sustain artists through their art.
